Frostwynd is the vast, frozen realm of The Shadow Crown series, and most of it is still uncharted. Its first chronicle, The Shadow Crown: Frostwynd Chronicles, takes place in the village of Eldergrove and the lands around it, where the red dragon Scorathax wears the Shadow Crown and the dead stir in the catacombs.

The Shadow Crown is a text adventure in the style of the 1980s classics. You explore by typing commands like GO NORTH, TALK TO GARETH or ATTACK GOBLIN. Frostwynd Chronicles is the prequel, the first game in the series.
